With a PhD in Environmental Sciences and a PG Diploma in Environmental Sustainability, Roberta specializes in sustainability education and communication to act at the interface of research- based solutions, technologies and dissemination. She works to bridge gaps from research-based knowledge to action for water-energy efficiency, energy transition, sustainability, climate change and circularity solutions. She has almost 20 years of international experience as a researcher, water management consultant and sustainability education officer.

Roberta has ideated and co-designed transformative programmes with stakeholders from all strands of civic society, which delivered solution-oriented and action-aimed initiatives that are relevant for the audiences they target, with lasting societal impacts.

Throughout her career, Roberta has built a significant social capital; during her involvement in the Dŵr Uisce project, she contributed to building and expanding new and existing networks, while facilitating knowledge transfer and knowledge valorisation among all stakeholders involved.
