Bangor University will host the Dwr Uisce 2017 Conference. The following sections will provide you with all the information you need to know for travelling to and from Bangor, as well as accommodation options available to you. Travel: Getting to Bangor

By rail - Bangor is easily accessible from most areas of Wales and the UK by train with regular direct services. See National Rail for details.

By sea - Traveling to Bangor from Ireland (Dublin port) by boat (superferry or fastcraft) is the best choice of tavel from Dublin. For details on sailing times, and booking a ferry crossing visit Irish Ferries or Stena Line. Holyhead Port links with Bangor via a direct rail service and takes approximately 30 minutes.  Book a combined Sail & Rail ticket or separate rail fare with National Rail.

By road - The A55, A5 and A487 are the main roads leading to Bangor.

By Bus - Arriva Bus serves Bangor daily, see their Website for details.

By air - Anglesey Airport is 25 minutes away by car from Bangor with daily flights to and from Cardiff.  Liverpool and Manchester international airports are approximately 1 ½ hours' drive from Bangor or via National Rail services from these airports.

Accommodation: Staying in Bangor

The Management Centre is the official venue for accommodation for Dwr Uisce 2017 conference attendees.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved specifically for the event as the Management Centre is otherwise fully booked. Please quote the following group reference 'GA00740' to release a room for your reservation. Prices range from £70-97 depending on the room type reserved.
