Auditing and benchmarking

Auditing and benchmarking of all aspects of organisation to optimise efficiency. This would be sustainability-oriented, but naturally covers all aspects of operation: water, energy, emissions, and finances.

This would be undertaken via site visits/video calls to understand the scope of the organisation, followed by the most appropriate analysis techniques. Could be LCA, carbon accounting, productivity analysis, or a tailored approach depending on the priorities of the organisation.

For example, it could mean auditing a company, then benchmarking their performance in line with their priorities against similar companies from all over the world via research articles and reports, to then generate recommendations of varying degrees of cost and impact. Ultimately, these recommendations will aim for an increase in efficiency. This could enable a reduction in their environmental footprint, a better long term financial position, and enhanced services.

Prospective companies are those that operate with a multitude of inflows and outflows, where the best route to improvement is not always obvious, such as those in hospitality and service-based industries.
